Vice President of Systems Engineering
Job Summary
Leading critical engineering functions, the full-time remote Vice President of Systems Engineering will manage Release Management, QA, and DevOps teams while building a quality engineering framework to enhance delivery quality and platform reliability across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee Release Management, QA, and DevOps, ensuring high-quality software delivery and platform reliability
- Design and implement an engineering quality framework, establishing standards for automated testing and release readiness
- Drive DevOps strategy, managing CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform observability
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience with at least 4 years in leadership roles managing QA and DevOps teams
- Proven background in quality engineering with experience building automation frameworks in multi-platform environments
- Experience implementing release gate processes and making critical go/no-go decisions
- Strong DevOps knowledge, including CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Appium
