Vice President of Technical Accounting

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Controllership (Head of Technical Accounting & External Reporting).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead technical accounting and external reporting functions, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC requirements
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements and SEC filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Develop and implement internal controls and governance processes in line with public company standards

Required Qualifications:

• 15+ years of experience in accounting and financial reporting, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
• Strong expertise in US GAAP and working knowledge of IFRS
• Prior experience with SEC reporting and public company requirements is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks
• CPA or equivalent professional qualification is required
