Vice President of Technology

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President, Technology responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive technology strategy for clinical trial and RWD&E offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a multi-year technology roadmap in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team
• Oversee management and optimization of critical technology systems including CTMS and EDC systems
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security requirements while managing relationships with technology vendors

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Typically requires 10 years in IT leadership roles within healthcare or clinical research
• In-depth knowledge of clinical systems and infrastructure, including cloud-based applications
• Expertise in strategic planning and tech roadmap development
• Deep understanding of current trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements in data privacy and security
