Vice President of Threat Detection

Job Summary

Leading the Threat Detection & Response (TD&R) function, the full-time remote Vice President of Threat Detection will develop and execute strategic plans, oversee organizational design, and drive measurable outcomes across multiple teams within the cybersecurity domain.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the TD&R function, focusing on strategic ownership and measurable business outcomes
• Partner with Product and Innovation teams to create a credible SOC roadmap and drive operational consistency
• Manage cultural shifts and change management initiatives to enhance team trust and operational effectiveness

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in security operations, threat detection, incident response, or related cybersecurity functions
• 5+ years of experience leading multi-functional teams through other managers and directors
• Proven success in strategic planning and organizational design for major security functions
• Strong business judgment connecting security metrics to customer retention and company growth
• Demonstrated ability to build leadership depth and communicate complex technical risks effectively
