Vice President of Transportation
Job Summary
Leading the strategic direction and operational performance of the transportation business, the full-time Vice President of Transportation will develop scalable network strategies, optimize customer-focused solutions, and manage Logistics Partner relationships in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a multi-year transportation strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives
- Provide executive oversight of transportation network performance and operational scalability
- Lead the strategic management of Logistics Partner relationships, including performance and pricing agreements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations, or a related field; MBA preferred
- 10-15+ years of progressive leadership experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain
- Proven experience in transportation procurement and managing significant operational and financial responsibilities
- Experience with same-day, final-mile, expedited, and/or multi-modal transportation solutions preferred
- Strong strategic and commercial acumen with exceptional financial and P&L management capabilities
