Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President of Underwriting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee standard underwriting decisions for complex risks and manage high-level exceptions
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain knowledge of filing regulations
• Lead underwriting audits and provide expertise in reinsurance arrangements

Required Qualifications

• Progressive underwriting experience in high-net-worth or Private Client personal lines insurance
• Expertise in complex risk evaluation, including high-TIV and CAT-exposed risks
• Strong knowledge of regulatory filings and compliance
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train underwriting professionals
• Experience managing audits and third-party vendor relationships
