Vice President Privacy Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Vice President Chief Privacy Officer.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Privacy Program in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Establish and administer processes for tracking and investigating privacy-related complaints and develop training materials for employees
• Serve as a liaison with various departments and external agencies to ensure compliance and promote privacy awareness

Required Qualifications

• 12 or more years of applicable work experience
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees such as a law degree or MBA preferred
• Progressive leadership experience in developing and maintaining a Healthcare Compliance Program
• Direct experience in privacy or as a privacy officer is preferred
• Knowledge of data privacy laws and HIPAA regulations
