Job Summary

Based in Cape Town and working remotely as a contractor, the Video Content Creator will develop, shoot, and edit engaging social-first video content for advertising and brand campaigns, collaborating closely with the Marketing Video Lead and the wider creative team.

Key responsibilities

• Create and appear in various social video formats, including UGC-style ads, explainers, and skits
• Research and deconstruct successful paid social ads to generate innovative video concepts and scripts
• Shape, shoot, and edit video content using tools like Premiere Pro and Figma, ensuring high-quality production standards

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in content creation, social video production, or a similar role
• A portfolio showcasing on-camera performance and UGC-style video creation
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and short-form video formats
• Proficiency in Premiere Pro and familiarity with Figma for storyboarding
• Curiosity about AI tools and their application in video content production
