Job Summary

A company is looking for a Video Editor to join their post-production team on a contract basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with directors and producers to understand and execute the desired narrative structure
• Edit episodes from initial assembly to final cut, incorporating feedback for refinement
• Manage timelines and workflows to ensure timely delivery of episodes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Film Production or a related field
• Proven experience as a Video Editor, particularly in episodic narrative formats
• Expertise in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, or Avid Media Composer
• Strong understanding of narrative pacing, visual aesthetics, and audio synchronization
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
