Job Summary
To support a top media and entertainment company, the contract Video Editor will edit, spot-check, and deliver marketing video content while ensuring consistency and quality in a remote role for candidates based on the East Coast.
Key responsibilities:
- Video editing and versioning/encoding for delivery
- Tagging and spot-checking for quality control
- Posting deliverables according to detailed specifications and deadlines
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of intermediate experience editing in Adobe Premiere
- Knowledge of video, audio, and image encoding formats, as well as broadcast/social media best practices
- Experience with hi-res file transfer applications
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize under time constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Must have own editing hardware and ample external storage
