Job Summary
Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Video Editor for Paid Social will edit short-form videos from creative briefs and raw footage, focusing on creating engaging content for platforms like Meta, TikTok, and YouTube while collaborating with creative strategists to optimize performance.
Key responsibilities
- Edit and produce short-form videos tailored for paid social media, ensuring strong hooks and pacing
- Collaborate with creative strategists to translate briefs into effective visual storytelling and incorporate feedback
- Stay updated on platform trends and best practices to enhance video performance and engagement
Required qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in video editing for paid social or digital marketing
- Strong portfolio showcasing short-form editing skills, including pacing and platform-specific formatting
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro and/or CapCut; After Effects experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of specifications and best practices for Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
- Ability to work with raw footage and maintain organization under deadline pressure
