Video Editor for Social Media

Job Summary

Supporting a creative team remotely, the freelance Video Editor for Social Media will produce high-quality content for various digital platforms, including managing raw footage, assembling video edits, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure brand consistency.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior creative leads in shaping video content for social, digital, and branded channels
• Import, transcode, sync, and organize raw footage and assets within established workflows
• Export and encode videos in multiple aspect ratios and codecs optimized for digital distribution

Required qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on video editing or post-production experience; internship and freelance experience considered
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro; experience with After Effects and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
• Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve and professional footage workflows
• Experience editing social-first content and consumer-facing brand content is highly preferred
