Video Editor & Motion Designer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a freelance basis, the Video Editor & Motion Designer will adapt and edit existing videos for the Simplicissimus and fern YouTube channels, focusing on replacing voice-overs, adjusting text elements, and creating new 2D animations.

Key responsibilities

• Cutting and adapting existing videos for the respective channels (German/English)
• Replacing voice-overs and editing new segments
• Creating new 2D animations and optimizing existing assets

Required qualifications

• Basic knowledge of German and English
• Professional experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects
• Extensive experience in video editing and 2D animation
• Basic knowledge of 3D animation with Blender (preferred)
• Strong sense of aesthetics, flow, and visual storytelling
