Job Summary

Enthusiastic about exploring the intersection of technology and society, the full-time Video Podcast Producer will lead the production of "Galaxy Brain," collaborating with the host and team to develop compelling episodes while managing all aspects of production from pre- to post-production, including script drafting and audio-visual quality assurance.

Key responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the host and supervising producer to pitch show topics and manage the creative process
• Oversee the entire production process, ensuring high-quality audio and video during recordings and managing post-production edits
• Coordinate with various teams to uphold production standards and manage the show's production calendar

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in journalism and video production, preferably in podcasting
• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and experience with remote recording tools like Riverside
• Strong understanding of lighting, audio, and camera operation for video production
• Outstanding editorial judgment with a track record of producing high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Familiarity with YouTube and podcast distribution platforms; motion graphics experience is a plus
