Video Software Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Video Software Engineer to help build and scale API-based functionalities for their core product.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on technical roadmap and product goals
- Develop and evolve the transcoding platform for new capabilities
- Design and maintain services and workflows for video processing
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Backend & Video Engineering using Golang, C, C++, or similar languages
- Strong engineering fundamentals; a CS degree is a plus
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and reliability principles
- Familiarity with technologies such as ffmpeg/libav, HLS, DASH, and packaged media formats
- Comfortable working across multiple platforms and environments
