VIP Communications Specialist

Job Summary

To support the VIP Support Division, the full-time remote VIP Communications Specialist will independently develop and disseminate strategic communications to VIP users regarding IT service updates, outages, and project schedules while exercising discretion in messaging content and timing.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and disseminate communications messaging to VIP users about J6 IT service updates and outages
• Monitor VIP ticket trends to identify communication opportunities that can reduce recurring incidents through proactive messaging
• Prepare reports and briefings for VIP Support leadership on communications activities and user feedback

Required qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance at time of award
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• 3 or more years of experience in strategic communications or technical writing in a Government or DoD environment
• ITIL v4 Foundations and CompTIA Security+ certifications required
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent communications projects in a high-pressure environment
