Virginia AR Representative

Job Summary

Managing the accounts receivable process, the full-time Virginia AR Representative will oversee claim processing, denial management, and resolution of issues while collaborating with physician practices and ensuring compliance with best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable, analyzing aged AR and implementing rules to prevent errors
• Investigate and resolve claim denials, including contacting payer representatives as needed
• Serve as an escalation point for issues and collaborate with practice consultants to optimize revenue cycle functionality

Required qualifications

• High School Graduate
• 5+ years of experience in a physician medical billing office or equivalent claims experience
• Understanding of revenue cycle performance drivers and complex claim resolution
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and formulas
• Experience with Salesforce for case management preferred
