Job Summary
To support outpatient OB/GYN and Primary Care services, the fully remote Virginia Certified Coding Specialist will ensure coding accuracy, documentation integrity, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with clinical staff and revenue cycle teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review and assign accurate CPT, ICD-10, and related codes for professional billing services
- Analyze clinical documentation to ensure coding reflects the services provided and supports appropriate reimbursement
- Monitor coding quality, compliance standards, and evolving regulatory guidelines
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years of relevant coding experience
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
