Virginia Facility Security Officer

Job Summary

Leading and managing all aspects of the security program, the full-time Virginia Facility Security Officer will ensure compliance with NISPOM, oversee personnel security clearance actions, and maintain classified information security at the Reston, Virginia facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for compliance with NISPOM and manage the Industrial Security Program
• Oversee personnel security clearance actions and conduct security training and briefings for employees
• Manage classified information handling and physical security infrastructure, including access control systems

Required qualifications

• Active DoD Security Clearance at the Top Secret level; eligibility for TS/SCI is required
• 3-5 years of experience as an FSO, AFSO, or in a related industrial security role
• In-depth knowledge of NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) and DCSA policies
• Experience managing personnel security clearance actions and classified material control
• Proficiency with government security systems including NBIS, DISS, and NISS
