Job Summary
Supporting student retention in a remote environment, the full-time Virginia Licensed Academic Mentor will provide non-instructional intervention and support to students in grades 6-12, collaborating with students and parents to enhance online learning success.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze student strengths and challenges to deliver targeted interventions for academic success
- Conduct orientation sessions and maintain regular communication with students and families to foster strong academic relationships
- Monitor student progress and adjust intervention programs based on individual needs
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and bilingual in Spanish and English
- Two or more years of customer service experience
- Experience working with children or youth
- Demonstrated proficiency in using online tools and applications
- Background in Education preferred
