Job Summary
Supporting the organization's Alternative Assets investment portfolio, the full-time Virginia Licensed Accountant will manage U.S. GAAP and U.S. Statutory accounting and reporting, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and assist in the development of investment strategies, while working a hybrid schedule of in-office and remote days in Richmond, Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Support accurate accounting and reporting for the Alternative Assets investment portfolio and maintain internal controls
- Evaluate system outputs and research accounting guidance to identify efficiencies and gaps in processes
- Perform accounting responsibilities, including reconciliations, transaction reviews, and financial reporting preparation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- CPA preferred
- 2-5 years of U.S. GAAP and/or U.S. Statutory accounting experience
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel
