Virginia Licensed Accounting Manager
Job Summary
Managing investment performance reporting, the full-time Virginia Licensed Accounting Manager will ensure timely and accurate SEC and U.S. Statutory reporting for the organization's Fixed Income investment portfolio while working in a hybrid schedule that includes in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the preparation of investment performance reporting and balance reconciliations
- Lead interactions with auditors and manage accounting policy implementation
- Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance efficiencies and support new investment opportunities
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- CPA certification is preferred
- 3-6+ years of progressive accounting experience with GAAP and/or Statutory accounting
- Experience in researching accounting guidance for accurate reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel
