Virginia Licensed Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Accounting Supervisor will manage outsourced accounting services for multiple nonprofit clients, including month-end close work, financial statement preparation, and client communications, in a hybrid work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee client relationships and engagement teams while providing outsourced accounting services
- Review and prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements
- Prepare and review audit and 990 support schedules, communicating directly with clients on engagement matters
Required qualifications
- Four to six years of experience in public accounting, auditing, or nonprofit accounting roles
- Licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or license in progress preferred
- Experience in the not-for-profit industry preferred
- Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage Intacct and QuickBooks
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
