Job Summary
Supporting the development and implementation of pricing strategies, the temporary Virginia Licensed Actuarial Analyst will work remotely to develop rate indications, evaluate rating plans, and prepare actuarial support for personal auto, homeowners, and other insurance products in Virginia.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and analysis of rate indications and pricing recommendations for new products in Virginia
- Evaluate existing and proposed rating plans, including factors and discounts, to ensure market competitiveness
- Prepare actuarial support documentation for regulatory filings and product launches
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of personal lines pricing experience, preferably in auto and/or homeowners insurance
- Virginia-specific experience is highly preferred
- Expertise in developing rate indications and rating plans
- Experience launching personal lines products in new states
- 5+ CAS exams completed, with ACAS designation preferred
