Job Summary
Leading financial and actuarial strategies for medium to large clients, the full-time Virginia Licensed Actuarial Director will leverage extensive experience to provide strategic recommendations, drive revenue growth, and manage complex client engagements while working in a hybrid environment.
Key responsibilities
- Communicates complex financial and actuarial concepts to drive client action and improve plan performance
- Develops and delivers financial/actuarial strategies for a portfolio of medium and large clients
- Guides regional and global teams on deliverables, ensuring high-quality client delivery and collaboration
Required qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in health and welfare financial/actuarial strategies within a consulting or brokerage environment
- Proven ability to generate revenue and manage client relationships effectively
- Deep understanding of employee benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts
- State Life and Health license required within 90 days of joining
- Actuarial designation and current continuing education (optional)
