Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel-Consumer Banking.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on consumer deposit and loan products, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate with internal partners to assess and manage legal, regulatory, and reputational risks
• Guide internal partners during regulatory examinations and assist in the development of consumer banking policies

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years as a practicing attorney with relevant financial services experience, including 5 years as in-house counsel
• Licensed Attorney in Virginia, North Carolina, or New York, or eligible for admission in those jurisdictions
• Completion of an accredited Law School with a J.D. degree
• Completion of four years of undergraduate study with a degree
