Virginia Licensed Assistant General Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel to provide legal services across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with sales and finance teams to structure customer deals
• Draft, review, and negotiate technology licenses and SaaS agreements
• Manage procurement projects and negotiate vendor contracts

Required Qualifications:

• Virginia law license or ability to obtain admission within 6 months
• Juris Doctor degree from a well-regarded law school
• 6+ years of experience in commercial contract negotiations or corporate-transactional practice
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Experience and interest in information technology and software commercialization preferred
