Job Summary
To lead a production and underwriting team, the full-time Virginia Licensed Assistant Vice President will underwrite new and renewal business, approve policy changes, and maintain client relationships while working remotely.
Key responsibilities:
- Underwrite new and renewal business while meeting production goals
- Supervise a multi-person team and ensure effective communication of pertinent information
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and market all products and services
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
- Three years of experience in production and marketing of new accounts
- Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
- Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
- Ability to understand and analyze components of insurance policies
