Job Summary

To lead a production and underwriting team, the full-time Virginia Licensed Assistant Vice President will underwrite new and renewal business, approve policy changes, and maintain client relationships while working remotely.

Key responsibilities:
  • Underwrite new and renewal business while meeting production goals
  • Supervise a multi-person team and ensure effective communication of pertinent information
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with clients and market all products and services
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
  • Three years of experience in production and marketing of new accounts
  • Must be licensed in corresponding areas of insurance
  • Knowledge of commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
  • Ability to understand and analyze components of insurance policies
