Job Summary
To lead a production and underwriting team, the full-time Virginia Licensed Assistant Vice President will underwrite new and renewal business, approve policy changes, and maintain client relationships while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Underwrite new and renewal business while meeting production goals set by management
- Supervise team communication and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and market program products and services effectively
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or appropriate insurance designation
- Five years of experience as an active Underwriter or seven years in the insurance industry
- Must hold necessary insurance licenses
- Proficient in commercial multi-line underwriting and rating
- Ability to analyze insurance policies and understand client risk profiles
