Virginia Licensed Associate Attorney

Job Summary

To support a growing legal practice, the full-time Virginia Licensed Associate Attorney will manage moderately complex civil litigation and workers' compensation cases remotely, while providing legal advice and maintaining client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of litigation, including discovery, hearings, trials, and drafting legal documents
• Provide clear legal opinions and strategic advice to clients, ensuring strong relationships through effective communication
• Utilize e-discovery and case management technologies to improve legal processes and facilitate case resolutions

Required qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LLB degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in Virginia and in good standing
• General knowledge of insurance law and workers' compensation
• Proficient in e-discovery and case management systems
• Demonstrated ability to manage cases from start to finish under supervision
