Job Summary

A company is looking for an Interstate Auditor.

Key Responsibilities

• Research, plan, and conduct audits of multi-state corporations to ensure compliance with Virginia tax laws
• Work independently while maintaining professionalism and excellent organizational skills
• Travel to various audit locations as required within the geographical coverage area

Required Qualifications

• Progressive work experience in state sales and use tax auditing
• Extensive knowledge of accounting, auditing, and state and federal tax laws
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with electronic data and files
• Must reside within 50 miles of a major airport and have transportation for travel
• Possess a valid US Driver's License and a suitable home office setup with high-speed Internet
