Job Summary

A company is looking for a Cardiac Sonographer 2 to join their Cardiology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Recognizes clinical problems during exams and takes appropriate actions to ensure patient satisfaction and optimal outcomes
• Administers IV contrast and ensures rooms are stocked with necessary supplies for procedures
• Maintains patient safety and equipment functionality, reporting any issues to biomedical engineering or vendors

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Graduate of an accredited school/program of diagnostic medical sonography or five years of specialized training in a healthcare setting
• ARDMS Registered with RDCS Certification or CCI Registered with RCS Certification for Echo, or ARDMS with RVT or CCI with RVS Certification for Vascular
• Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
• One year of experience in cardiac or vascular sonography in a hospital/healthcare environment after acquiring registry
