Job Summary
Seeking a customer-focused Virginia Licensed Casualty Claims Representative, this full-time remote position will manage a variety of claims for Virginia Farm Bureau members, ensuring efficient settlements and compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate assigned losses and prioritize First Contact Settlement Communications with claimants
- Comply with company policies while reporting all activity on claim files promptly
- Advise the Underwriting Department on poor risks and assist other claim personnel as needed
Required qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of claims handling experience
- Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Code of Virginia and tort laws affecting civil cases
- Proven customer service and strong investigation and settlement skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
