Job Summary
Seeking a customer-focused Virginia Licensed Casualty Claims Representative, the full-time remote position will manage the investigation and settlement of claims for Virginia Farm Bureau members while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and handle all assigned claims for members, prioritizing first contact settlement communications
- Report all claim file activity promptly and assist other claim personnel as needed
- Advise the Underwriting Department on poor risks and respond to complaints as requested
Required qualifications
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5+ years of claims handling experience
- Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Code of Virginia and tort laws affecting civil cases
- Excellent organizational and customer service skills
- Strong investigation and settlement skills
