Virginia Licensed Child Therapist
Job Summary
To support a growing practice, the part-time to full-time Virginia Licensed Child Therapist will provide therapy to children aged 5-12 through a teletherapy platform and in-office sessions, while managing a caseload of approximately 30-35 clients per week.
Key responsibilities
- Provide therapy virtually and in-person in standard 45-60 minute sessions
- Complete assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes for clients
- Contribute to the growth and development of the practice by sharing strategies and techniques
Required qualifications
- Must be licensed as an LCSW or LPC in Virginia, with eligibility for insurance credentialing
- Registered Play Therapist certification is desired
- Experience working with children in a virtual setting
- Ability to engage children creatively during therapy sessions
- High-speed internet access and a HIPAA-compliant space for conducting sessions
