Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Claims Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a caseload of low to moderate complexity P&C insurance claims, analyzing coverage, liability, and damages
  • Negotiate settlements and mitigate losses while ensuring compliance with state regulations and company guidelines
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining accurate documentation and preparing correspondence related to claims


Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Minimum of one year of P&C claims handling experience required
  • Adjuster license and/or certifications preferred
  • Beginner level of expertise in claim handling and moderate knowledge of the P&C insurance industry
  • Ability to obtain required state adjusters' licenses within six months of completing company-provided training
