Virginia Licensed Claims Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a customer-focused Virginia Licensed Claims Representative, the full-time remote position will manage a variety of claims, ensuring efficient settlements in accordance with company procedures while residing in Virginia.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate all assigned losses for Virginia Farm Bureau members and ensure compliance with company policies
• Prioritize First Contact Settlement Communications with claimants and promptly address complaints
• Assist and guide other claims personnel as needed while reporting all activity on claim files promptly

Required qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5+ years of claims handling experience
• Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Code of Virginia and tort laws affecting civil cases
• Proven customer service skills and strong investigation and settlement skills
• Excellent organizational skills
