Job Summary

A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist III-Registered Nurse for a remote, part-time position.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess clinical documentation through extensive review of medical records to ensure accuracy in patient representation
• Interact with healthcare providers and staff to ensure appropriate reimbursement and completeness of clinical information
• Conduct post-discharge reconciliation and formulate clinical documentation clarifications to improve documentation quality

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Nursing (Required)
• Bachelors Degree in Nursing or a healthcare-related field (Preferred)
• 5-6 years of nursing experience, preferably in patient care, critical care, or utilization management (Required)
• 3-4 years of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) experience (Required)
• Registered Nurse (RN) license and relevant certifications (Required)
