Job Summary

To deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical care, the full-time Virginia Licensed Clinical Pharmacy Specialist will manage patient drug therapy, ensure medication order appropriateness, and serve as a primary resource for drug information while working remotely in designated states.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage patient drug therapy in accordance with clinical practice standards
• Assure the appropriateness of provider medication orders to maintain patient care and safety
• Provide in-depth patient counseling and support the training of new employees

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Level Degree in Pharmacy (Required)
• Virginia Pharmacist License (Required)
• 3 years of Pharmacist experience (Required)
• Doctorate Level Degree in Pharmacy (Strongly Preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required within 90 days of hire)
