Key responsibilities
- Independently code Evaluation & Management visits and minor procedure encounters for musculoskeletal specialties
- Apply advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and payer-specific policies to ensure compliant coding and charge capture
- Collaborate with physicians and operational teams to maintain coding accuracy and identify documentation gaps
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years of relevant coding experience required
- Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
