Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time salaried Virginia Licensed Coding Quality Specialist will independently code professional fee services for Orthopedic Surgery Musculoskeletal practices, ensuring compliance with coding regulations and collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance documentation quality and reimbursement accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Independently code Evaluation & Management visits and minor procedure encounters for musculoskeletal specialties
• Apply advanced knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and payer-specific policies to ensure compliant coding and charge capture
• Collaborate with physicians and operational teams to maintain coding accuracy and identify documentation gaps

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of relevant coding experience required
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required
