Job Summary

A company is looking for a Commercial Underwriter.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze preliminary title reports and communicate with title examiners for comprehensive title examination
• Prepare title commitments, Pro Formas, policies, endorsements, and related documents
• Coordinate and communicate with internal staff and external stakeholders while addressing underwriting questions and revision requests

Required Qualifications and Education

• Significant experience in the title industry, particularly with commercial transactions
• Ability to work from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday
• Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative
• Ability to foster and maintain professional working relationships
• Experience in negotiating underwriting coverages and resolving issues creatively
