Virginia Licensed Compliance Specialist
Job Summary
To support global trade compliance efforts, the hybrid or remote Virginia Licensed Compliance Specialist will manage compliance tasks, assist with internal investigations, and ensure adherence to US export and import laws, including ITAR and EAR, while working collaboratively with the team.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with internal investigations and prepare draft disclosures, including analysis and written summaries
- Manage compliance tasks, data calls, reporting requirements, and record keeping
- Develop and implement processes and procedures for continuous improvement projects and training
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 4-5 years of experience in export control, including investigations
- Experience as an Empowered Official in the defense industry
- Proficiency in OCR EMS export management software
- Strong understanding of ITAR and EAR regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a heavily matrixed environment
