Virginia Licensed Corporate Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Controller (Hybrid in Arlington, VA).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Accounting team to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policies
• Manage liquidity, treasury, investment, and pension financial functions
• Prepare and present financial reports to management and the Board of Trustees

Required Qualifications

• CPA license or MBA, Master's in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Ten years of experience in accounting with progressive management
• Proven success in building relationships with auditors and financial institutions
• Not for Profit experience preferred; proficiency in NetSuite or other General Ledger systems is a plus
• Experience in designing and implementing internal control processes
