Job Summary

Working from home in Virginia, the full-time salaried Virginia Licensed Counseling Manager will oversee counseling services, support academic success for students, and lead a team to ensure effective communication with families and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure academic success by maintaining communication with parents and utilizing available academic support
• Develop and implement counseling programs related to academic and career planning, graduation, and interpersonal adjustment issues
• Manage state testing processes and coordinate efforts to assist students with course selection and graduation requirements

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years teaching experience with some counseling or management experience preferred
• Virginia Professional Teacher Certificate in Guidance and Counseling required
• Advanced degree preferred
• Technologically proficient, especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite
• Ability to attend in-person events for testing, field trips, or professional development
