Job Summary
Leading the security authorization process for systems and applications, the mid-level Cybersecurity Engineer / RMF Specialist will work remotely to develop security documentation, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with NIST guidelines and DoD regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concentrate on the technical and operational effectiveness of capabilities in coordination with COTR and Sponsor Staff management
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of processes and architectures supporting Cyber Defense operational activities
- Maximize the use of existing tools to correlate information and synthesize data into actionable events while identifying opportunities for automation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in security risk assessment and management in cloud environments (GCP preferred)
- Experience building authorization packages
- US Citizenship required with an active Secret clearance or interim Secret clearance
