Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Eligibility Worker III.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a benefits program caseload, determining eligibility and processing applications for various assistance programs
- Provide training and guidance to other Benefit Programs Specialists and coordinate workflow among eligibility workers
- Monitor case records for accuracy, respond to appeals, and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma with additional training and related work experience in benefits programs
- Completion of required Benefit Programs training or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Must meet the eligibility requirements of the County's safe driver policy
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience as an Eligibility Worker
- Experience with automated systems for Benefit Programs in Virginia is a plus
