Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the part-time Virginia Licensed Endocrinologist will provide direct patient care focused on obesity treatment and comprehensive diabetes management, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team while managing complex co-morbidities.
Key responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based treatment for obesity and diabetes management in a telemedicine setting
- Collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and Registered Dietitians on patient care and treatment planning
- Conduct quality reviews for APP patients and ensure adherence to clinical documentation and treatment protocols
Required qualifications
- Board certification in Endocrinology by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM)
- Active and unrestricted Medical State License in Virginia, New York, or Massachusetts
- Demonstrated competency in managing patients with complex co-morbidities, including CKD and CAD
- Expertise in advanced diabetes management, including CGMs and insulin pumps
- Strong interest in mentoring and collaborating with APPs and Registered Dietitians
