Virginia Licensed Family Services Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Family Services Specialist III-Senior Foster Care/Adoption worker.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide services in complex cases and develop psychosocial case plans
• Act as case manager, coordinating with various professionals for service delivery
• Function as legal guardian for foster children, ensuring their safety and well-being

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field or related experience
• Considerable experience in the assigned program area
• Completion of required training programs or equivalent experience
• Possession of a valid driver's license issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia is preferred
• Preferred qualifications include a BSW, MSW, or related master's degree and/or a Virginia Social Work license
