Job Summary
Supporting the implementation of Oracle Projects and G-Invoicing, the remote Financial Specialist / Accountant will manage accounting treatment for project costs, billing, and compliance within the U.S. Department of Education's Financial Management Support System.
Key responsibilities
- Support Oracle Projects cost collection, labor and non-labor accounting, and billing processes
- Validate cost distribution, revenue recognition, and related accounting treatments
- Lead workshops and document requirements to ensure federal financial compliance
Required qualifications
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- Minimum one (1) year of experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Federal Financials
- Experience with federal financial management and cost tracking
- Ability to validate accounting treatment and compliance with federal financial requirements
