Virginia Licensed Financial Services Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Services Technician Sr. (BO/SDU).

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process financial transactions and associated records for compliance with GAAP and relevant laws
• Assist with Unidentified Payments, Unclaimed Property, and work with the EFT Unit to increase electronic payment processing
• Promote MY CHILD SUPPORT automation and provide support to various divisions within the agency

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, and enter fiscal transactions
• Working knowledge of GAAP and relevant policies and procedures
• Experience with automated financial/accounting systems
• Experience in accounting, auditing, or bookkeeping
• Considerable experience in reconciliation and government accounting
